This calendar will help you keep a record of your menstrual cycles throughout the year by allowing you to keep a diary of the changes in your body.
The calendar is divided into 28 day (4 week) cycles to help with visualization. If you have a regular flow, a vertical line will start showing on your calendar as you mark the dates of your period. If your cycle is longer than 28 days, you’ll notice a diagonal towards the right, and if it’s shorter the line will lean towards the left.
You’ll eventually start noticing patterns that will help you make informed decisions and keep anything unexpected from happening.
To help you find the date, the months are divided by colors (January is red, February is white...) and every week (Friday) is marked by a blue vertical line.
The calendar also contains the moon phases of the year, so you can regulate your cycle if you are into Lunaception.
The idea is not to just follow a record of your cycles (already really important. Specially if you follow the Billings ovulation method), but also to keep a diary that helps you understand your body's changes. A good way to keep track of major changes is to draw different symbols to represent them, for example, big dots for a heavy flow, smaller ones for a lighter flow, a circle (or a T) when your cervical mucus changes, or an x for midcycle pain, write an initial if you have different sexual partners, or put tiny dots next to the date when you take pain relief pills.
